The Priory Wellbeing Centre Birmingham is an outpatient clinic set in the heart of Birmingham delivering individual therapy to adults, children and adolescents.
The clinic maintains close links with the Priory Hospital Woodbourne enabling continuity of care if inpatient treatment becomes necessary. The consultant psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and psychotherapists who use the clinic are all highly experienced in their respective fields of healthcare.
Due to the increase in demand for mental health support in and out of the city we are looking to expand our team of Consultant Psychiatrists.
We are currently seeking Consultants in General Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to join our team.
The position will offer an ability to work within a blended approach of face-to-face and remote appointments.
The applicant will be required to register with various private medical insurance companies for the benefit of our corporate clients.
The role of a Visiting Consultant is an exciting opportunity, offering the chance to build and manage a private outpatient practice while also contributing to our inpatient services. Birmingham Wellbeing Centre will provide administrative support to VCs to arrange timely and effective clinics. VCs do not need to generate referrals as these come from a central point. Priory supports VCs with marketing and there are opportunities to be involved in media promotion.
