The service is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to work with the forensic outreach team. The current team provides care coordination to service users leaving secure care, but there are plans for the team to expand, with the addition of OT and psychology roles, in order to develop into a more specialist service, with enhanced consultation and inreach transition functions.
The role has been created following a restructure. Currently there is funding for 8 PAs but it is anticipated that there will be the option to increase to 10 PAs following the allocation of funding for a WTE consultant by the provider collaborative. Additional PAs may be negotiable for roles within medical directorate or medical education.
