An established industry player in mental health services is seeking a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist to lead a dedicated Crisis/Home Treatment team. This role is pivotal in providing compassionate care to patients, ensuring they receive treatment close to home. Applications are invited for a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist to lead the Crisis/Home Treatment team based at Dorothy Pattison Hospital, Walsall. These are existing posts within a well-established supportive team working in close collaboration with the 8 Consultants in General Adult Psychiatry and their teams. The locality is divided into eight sectors, having retained the Continuity of Care model. Patients have access to local beds and strong links with community services, and the CRHT team ensures that patients remain close to home, with treatment provided as close to home as possible. The CRHT team is vital in maintaining this successful model.
The consultant will work with a Consultant colleague in CRHT and have the support of an experienced Associate Specialist, alongside a CT3 trainee and an FY1, working with a very experienced team of nurses and other clinicians, using agile technology and with administrative support.

Salary: £105,504 to £139,882 a year (3% of salary for on-call)
