Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Therapies service at King's for an expert with strong clinical experience in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
The post is based within the musculoskeletal physiotherapy Consultant team. You will be key to service transformation work and deliver the Clinical Leadership for the MSK and MCATS services.
King's is a Major Trauma centre and a centre of excellence for Neurosurgery. The physiotherapy service has strong links to clinics and consultants in these specialities as well as Orthopaedics; Rheumatology and Primary Care in Southwark and Lambeth. You will be contributing to pathway improvement within King's hospitals and the community and across the region to share best practice. We aim to achieve high quality care in the right place at the right time for all patients.
You will have an active role in education & research both within King's Health Partners (King's College Hospital; King's College London; Guy's & St. Thomas' Hospital and South London and Maudsley NHS Trust) and across the regional network. Therefore you will have strong teaching and presentation skills including lecturing.
