Job Title: Consultant Occupational Health Physician
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £126,562.50 per annum + benefits
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Part time or Full time – 3 days a week minimum

Role Summary

We are looking for a Consultant OHP to work on a part time or full time basis to carry out telephone and video consultations on a variety of contracts. There will also be the requirement to carry out site work in Manchester when necessary or hold consultations from our local office.

You will be required to carry out:

  • Telephone / Video consultations
  • Sickness Absence Management
  • Attendances and Performance Case Management
  • Ill health retirement advice
  • Complex Pension cases
  • Health Surveillance escalations
Who are we looking for?
  • Diploma in Occupational Medicine (Dip Occ Med) and MFOM as a minimum
  • Previous experience as an Occupational Health Physician (OHP)
  • A Medical Practitioner who has, since full registration, consolidated their skills and continued their medical education in line with the requirements of continuing medical education/continuing professional development
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Good understanding of the role and implications of clinical governance
