We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in General Radiology on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Radiology department.
Our client is one of the best performing Trusts in the country. Their Trust has been rated by the Care Quality Commission as 'Good' in all five of the main domains of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led, giving an overall rating of 'Good'. They've also been awarded an 'Outstanding' rating for 'use of resources' by an NHS Improvement inspection. Their facilities are some of the best in the country, and they have been investing around £10 million a year in their estate. They are currently spending £25 million on expanding their adult and neonatal critical care facilities at the trust and redevelopment of their children's unit - in partnership with their charity, CW+ and generous donors.
The appointee will join an existing team of 36 radiologists and the radiologist team is supported by a full team of radiographic, nursing, managerial and support staff including administrative staff. The successful appointee will be asked to fulfil various duties within the trust, including:
