As a Migration Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting a team of IM&W specialists in delivering our most challenging projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring project success and driving business growth.

As a Migration Consultant, you will have responsibility to:

• Support internal teams and clients in shaping technology strategy, implementation roadmaps, and migration plans
• Support the migration lead in delivering technology-enabled transformation and migration programmes
• Support clients and the Deloitte migration lead throughout the whole project lifecycle activities across discovery, migration strategy definition, data analysis, solution design and build, end-to-end testing, integrations and change and go-live
• Engage with the migration project team to align and develop comprehensive migration requirements
• Support clients with respect to data assessment processes, data mapping and procedures and development of the appropriate controls
• Provide support to the migration lead for data-related tasks throughout the migration process, such as reconciliations, cleansing, and profiling.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

• Strong consulting experience, preferably in the wealth management or pensions domains
• Experience in working with multiple vendor and delivering results in a multi-vendor environment
• Experience in diverse delivery programmes and projects, specifically with complex migration phases
• Strong understanding of vendor management best practices and the ability to navigate complex vendor landscapes
• Been a key part of wealth platform transformation and migration projects and demonstrated ability to support in a team of technology and business advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture, design, development, implementation, migration, and testing
• Supported delivery teams to successful project outcomes by managing and monitoring progress, mitigating risks, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and adapting to changing circumstances
• Familiarity with modern software delivery tooling e.g. JIRA, Confluence etc.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Industry certifications such as BCS, Prince 2, Agile, PMP among others are non-essential but desirable
