Applications are invited for a full time (10PA) consultant pathology post based in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.

ONE CONSULTANT CELLULAR PATHOLOGIST POST

A colleague with an interest or commitment that sufficiently includes breast and/or gynaecological is sought. A contribution to diagnostic (non-cervical) cytopathology is at least desirable but depends on wider commitments. Involvement in autopsy pathology can be accommodated for those qualified. Other interests, including a more generalised role but with sufficient support in these areas will also be considered.

Enquiries and discussion prior to application are welcomed. Further training towards a gradual assumption of a subspecialty focus would be supported for the right candidate. Flexible working is supported, and EPAs available by negotiation. Applicants wishing to work part time are encouraged to apply.

  • Supportive modernizing leadership with development activity that includes digital pathology, ongoing BMS role-extension, trialling home working, and a dedicated molecular pathology service
