Employer: HCA Healthcare UK – Leading private patient healthcare group specializing in complex care
Department: Corporate Employed Anaesthetic Hub
Location: London – Across all HCA Hospitals (excluding The Portland Hospital)
Contract: Permanent
Part-time: 1 day per week (460 hours per annum)
Shift times: 10-hour shifts, Thursdays or Fridays
Reporting Line: Anaesthetic Medical Director

An Exciting Opportunity to Join HCA Healthcare UK

We’re offering an exceptional opportunity for a Consultant Anaesthetist to join our Corporate Employed Anaesthetic Hub. Working at the forefront of clinical innovation, this role involves providing expert care across our prestigious London hospitals.

You’ll be part of a pioneering team, working one 10-hour day per week (Thursdays or Fridays) across multiple sites (excluding The Portland Hospital). The role requires covering all specialties except cardiac, neuro, paediatrics, and obstetrics; however, anaesthetists with experience in these areas are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Bring

  • GMC Registration and Licence to Practice in the UK.
  • CCT in Anaesthesia with Consultant-level recognition.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
  • Dual accreditation in Intensive Care Medicine (desirable).
  • Proven NHS Consultant-level experience in Anaesthesia.
