Construction Site Manager – Freelance (Outside IR35)

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an M&E contractor who has been awarded the installation of a new Power station based in Essex. You will deliver the programme over the next 12 – 18 months, hence looking for a temporary/freelance contractor to support the delivery of the scheme.

  • Location: Thurrock, Essex (on-site)
  • Salary: £450 (Outside IR35) per day + Accommodation, Milage, Daily Expenses

Role Description:

  • Assess and monitor deployment of labour, supervision and equipment during the course of construction, paying particular attention to available work fronts.
  • Set up, update and monitor the Project Measure and SE.
  • Ensure that Take-Offs of all Construction Drawings are carried out to record and manage any changes on an ongoing basis throughout the project cycle are being carried out.
  • Ensure construction installation keeps planning and any delays are recorded and communicated to client with the respective Cause & Effect analysis
  • Ensure the completion and submission of early warnings/ variations for any additional works outside of the agreed scope of work.
  • Managing and tracking of procurement, especially long lead items as well as bulk materials procurement and timely delivery

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Electrical Trade background
  • Proven Construction management experience in Power , Oil & Gas or Pharmaceutical Industries
  • Manage the Builder’s works e.g. Piling, Foundation, substructure & superstructure etc.,
