Job Description

Construction Site Layout Technician

Dearborn Construction is seeking a Construction Site Layout Technician. This individual would be responsible for site layout with GPS as well as establishing site control and reference points. You would be communicating with Superintendents, Foremen, Project Managers, vendors, project owners, and other contractors on site. You would be joining a family-owned business that has a great reputation for professional projects since 1984.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of civil construction operations and ability to provide layout data.
  • Knowledge of site layout along with GPS operation.
  • Ability to read, interpret and possess complete understanding of plans and blueprints.
  • Ability to create, manage, and maintain site layout.
  • Assist in quality control, verifying work, monitoring, and recording data.
  • Possess complete knowledge of OSHA standards and requirements.
  • Knowledge of erosion control best practices.
  • Possess good communication skills, ability to assist in leading crews and sub-contractors.
  • Possess the ability to solve problems and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Must be self-motivated and organized with strong work ethics.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good record.
Pay:

Pay based on experience. (Open to entry-level or experienced candidates)
