Brand Concessions and Projects Coordinator - will work under general direction within a framework of accountability reporting to the Senior project manager.
As a project coordinator, your role would be to manage pop-ups and concessions and to provide support to the senior store project manager with store projects. Assist with resources and information and assist with scheduling and planning of Brand pop-ups and concessions. The role also includes additional duties such as creating CAD drawings and covering for the other Projects coordinators in their absence.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans and schedules.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Undertaking project tasks as required.
- Providing administrative support as needed.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Covering and supporting Projects coordinator’s duties in the following tasks:
- Providing drawings and technical information related to the project and requirements of the Store projects team or Brand.
- Preparing and amending drawings in AutoCAD to meet the requirements of projects within time, specification, quality, and objectives.
- Undertaking site surveys.
- Producing 3D visuals and SketchUp drawings.
- Undertaking other duties as required by the Store Projects team to ensure timely and accurate production of information to VM, Buying teams, and Retail Brands.
- Preparing conceptual and general arrangement drawings that determine the geometry and layout of projects, and subsequently developing the drawings for elements of the projects to a more detailed status.
- Producing accurate and timely documentation, drawings, and reports.
- Contributing to a complete and integrated set of project documents by working cooperatively with team members.
- Assisting the senior project manager on store projects to ensure that projects are completed within the project deadline.
- Covering project tasks of projects for the senior project manager in her absence to ensure that projects do not fall behind schedule.
Personal Qualities and Experience
- Ability to undertake other tasks in support of the business under the direction of the Store projects manager.
- Ability to develop and run administrative processes.
- Competence in invoice processing on completed orders, and maintenance of filing records from quote through to order fulfillment, and advising the Store Projects Manager on order completion.
- Ability to produce reports on time and to the required standards.
- Ability to work with colleagues to understand stakeholders in an effort to meet their expectations and ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring compliance with Liberty’s Corporate Responsibility policies, procedures, and standards.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a technical 3D CAD and/or project coordinator role.
- Understanding of architectural nuances and the ability to convert and read architectural plans, elevations, and sections into accurate 3D models.
- Competence in carrying out site surveys for space planning purposes.
- Competence in producing space planning/layout plans.
- Competence in producing general construction drawings.
- Fully AutoCAD literate with strong detailing skills.
- Developing construction knowledge with the ability to produce construction and detailed working drawings quickly and efficiently.
- Experience in producing 2D/3D construction drawings from site notes and/or sketches.
- Experience in the production of detailed sections/elevations taken from raw data or sketches.
- Responsibility for checking drawings and issuing them to the relevant departments/brands.
- Providing cover for the basic responsibilities for colleagues in the event of absence.
