Step into Your New Role

Kleinfelder is looking for experienced geotechnical and construction material testing professionals to join us in providing high-level services to our diverse client base on projects throughout Delaware and the surrounding region. We need seasoned staff who are comfortable being actively engaged on construction sites performing field testing of construction materials. This role offers a dynamic work environment, the opportunity to work on multiple high-profile projects, and to be part of an industry leading company. The successful candidate must be a team oriented, flexible, and interested in performing a variety of construction and engineering related tasks.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience in construction fields
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a drug test.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, maintaining composure, and working effectively in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities.
  • Able to use an iPad and/or a company provided laptop/tablet computer and a working knowledge of MS Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and navigate uneven terrain.

Education/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • CCR Certification.
  • ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade 1.
  • Radiation safety training for the operation of a nuclear density gauge.
  • Additional soil/material testing certifications.
  • Organization and multi-tasking ability.
  • A good work ethic, attention to detail, and high level of personal integrity.
  • Possess excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Ability to conduct work year-round in varying climate and field conditions; Ability to prioritize effort and effectively be engaged on multiple projects at one time.
