The Team

With over 100 specialist lawyers, including 24 Partners, the Construction and Engineering team delivers comprehensive legal solutions across all facets of the construction industry. The team is highly regarded and ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers, making it a market leader.

The group's work is diverse, covering buildings, residential accommodation, civil and process plant engineering, energy, infrastructure, transport, and utilities across both private and public sectors. The team also provides project support and legal advice to the wider Real Estate, Banking, and Projects teams.

What to Expect in This Role:

• Engage with a variety of high-quality clients, advising government bodies, sponsors, funders, developers, employers, operators, constructors, sub-contractors, and professional teams on project procurement techniques and dispute avoidance and resolution mechanisms.
• Serve as the first line of support for partners, leveraging your experience and expertise to assist clients on complex and market-leading matters, including construction and development contracts, consultant appointments, and warranties across various sectors such as residential, office, retail, life sciences, energy, and transport.
• Work within a high-performing team known for its commitment to professional development, where you will have the opportunity and encouragement to lead matters and develop your own relationships.
• As the team continues to expand, you will have the chance to support the line management of junior colleagues.
