Job description

CS Construction Staffing is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected fit-out and refurbishment contractor, in the search for an experienced Construction Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Warrington, with travel to sites across England.


With a heritage dating back to 1880, our client is a family-owned construction company renowned for delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects across the UK. Their commitment to excellence, sustainability, and client satisfaction has solidified their reputation as a leader in their sector.


The Role

As Construction Manager, you will serve as the vital link between the Regional Operations Manager and on-site teams, overseeing all aspects of site operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring project delivery aligns with company standards, maintaining client relationships, and managing site activities effectively.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  2. Act as the primary liaison between clients, site teams, and the Regional Operations Manager.
  3. Manage projects in both live and non-live environments, ensuring minimal disruption to clients and the public.
  4. Uphold high standards of health and safety, quality, and compliance on all sites.
  5. Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and professional conduct.

Candidate Profile

  1. Proven experience in fast-paced fit-out and refurbishment environments.
  2. Strong background in general contracting; technical qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
  3. Exceptional client-facing skills with the ability to manage relationships and expectations effectively.
  4. Willingness to travel nationally and stay overnight as required.
  5. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
