Exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager to join a leading main contractor in the UK who operates in Central London and the surrounding home counties. Operating across the commercial, leisure & retail, heritage and private residential sectors with aspects of high-end interior fit-out and cut & carve on projects up to £60 million.

Responsibilities of the Construction Manager

• The right candidate will have a diverse background across a variety of construction sectors and managed projects from cradle to grave.
• Manage the site team and subcontractors ensuring quality assurance and health & safety on site.
• Lead briefing meetings and report to the Project Manager.
• Keep the project running to programme.

Requirements for the Construction Manager

• A degree background in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is desired.
• A desire to prove one's ability and progress within the business. The scope and opportunity at this company is exceptional and the development opportunities are vast, so the right candidate will be ambitious with clear career goals.
• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS card.
• First Aid certification.
• Prior experience of working on projects of a similar value and sector as described above.
