Job description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager for a sports hall project at HMP Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing both external and internal works of the sports hall build, with the steel frame already erected. This role requires the ability to work independently while demonstrating effective team leadership skills. Experience in challenging environments, particularly within Ministry of Justice (MoJ) or prison settings, is advantageous. The project demands flexibility in working hours, typically from 07:30 to 17:30, although this may vary depending on project requirements. The position offers a competitive daily rate of GBP300 to GBP350, based on experience, and will be paid through Umbrella. It is preferable for candidates to reside within a practical commuting distance of Norwich. The candidate should be prepared to start as soon as possible and participate in a brief interview process.
