Construction Manager required ASAP

JobMatcha are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Construction Manager to support the delivery of a project based in Norwich within a MoJ/Prison environment. The project will be for a sports hall being built in a prison environment (Steel Frame already in place).

Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Plan, organise, control and coordinate the site or section of the site to a successful and safe completion, exceeding client & stakeholder expectations.
2. Ensure that works are coordinated to ensure suitable safe access and segregation is maintained.
3. Ensure all Risk Assessments, Task Safety Plans and Method Statements are issued and agreed prior to commencing works.
4. Develop day to day plans for site operations from project programme.
5. Manage resources (set up teams to complete work, ensure individuals are aware of what is expected of them).
6. Management of information (ensure that works are carried out in accordance with good practice and in line with all relevant specifications, drawings, method statements).
7. Production (ensuring materials, plant and sub-contractors are procured to meet targets).
8. Ensure appropriate Quality is achieved and ensure that works are undertaken in accordance with all the project building HS&E legislation, and the site Health Safety and Environmental Plans.

Required Qualifications for this role as Construction Manager:

1. SMSTS
2. Black CSCS Card
3. Experienced working in challenging environments, MoJ/Prisons would be of benefit.
4. Able to work on own initiative and demonstrated team leading.
5. Suitable management qualifications, NVQ L6 minimum.
6. Experience in similar roles as a Construction Manager.
