Senior Associate - Non-Contentious Construction - London

A leading UK law firm is seeking an experienced Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer to join its highly regarded Construction & Engineering team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile development and infrastructure projects, advising a diverse client base that includes developers, contractors, consultants, public authorities, and major funders.

As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of non-contentious construction law, including:

- Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, including JCT, NEC, and bespoke agreements.
- Advising on procurement strategies and market expectations at project inception.
- Supporting major infrastructure and development projects, as well as power generation and process plant contracts.
- Providing strategic legal advice to developers, contractors, and public sector bodies.
- Collaborating with the firm's wider real estate, corporate, and finance teams on complex transactions.

The Candidate:

- A qualified solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law.
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating industry-standard construction contracts.
- A commercial mindset, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- An interest in working on major development, infrastructure, and energy projects.
