Construction Health and Safety Consultant

Northwest based (with remote working flexibility)

Permanent

£45,000 to £50,000 per annum + package

A highly regarded Northwest-based consultancy, specialising in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Construction Health and Safety Consultant to join their expert team. With a strong reputation built on referrals and long-term client relationships, this organisation prides itself on delivering tailored health and safety solutions to designers, developers, contractors, and property owners. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to take a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, design safety, and excellence in client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure CDM 2015 compliance across a variety of projects.
  2. Conduct site inspections, audits, and statutory compliance monitoring.
  3. Develop Pre-Construction Information (PCI) and Construction Phase Plans (CPP).
  4. Produce Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and COSHH assessments.
  5. Provide ongoing health and safety support to clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
  1. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (Diploma/Degree in Health & Safety advantageous).
  2. IOSH Membership (TechIOSH/CertIOSH/GradIOSH, working towards CMIOSH).
  3. Proven experience in construction-related health and safety consultancy.
  4. Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and project safety management.
  5. Full driving licence with flexibility to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
