As a not-for-profit organisation, we bring together experts across a range of areas including safety, innovation, policy, and engineering, enabling collaboration and the sharing of best practices. As the energy industry evolves to meet the challenges of decarbonisation and net zero targets, ENA’s work is more important than ever.

We are now looking for a Conference Programme Producer to join us on a full-time, fixed-term contract until November 2026.

The Benefits

  • Salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • At least 28 days’ annual leave plus public holidays, birthday leave, and an additional day over Christmas
  • Group Personal Pension Scheme

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the creation of a high-profile energy conference programme, showcasing your expertise in agenda development and stakeholder engagement.

You’ll enjoy a competitive salary, flexible hybrid working, and an excellent benefits package, all within a supportive, innovative environment committed to professional growth and work-life balance.

What’s more, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a major industry event that drives innovation, influences policy decisions, and supports the energy sector’s low-carbon transition, offering you significant career growth and meaningful opportunities.

The Role

As our Conference Programme Producer, you will lead the development and delivery of the Energy Innovation Summit (EIS) 2025 agenda.

The Summit is designed to bring together the energy system industry, targeting innovators and decision makers from across the UK.

You’ll have a unique opportunity to shape a dynamic programme that connects industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to share insights and encourage collaboration.

From designing the agenda structure and recruiting speakers to co-ordinating logistics and delivering promotional materials, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless experience for participants and stakeholders alike.

Specifically, you will:

  • Work with our events, communications, and innovation teams
  • Oversee logistical details such as room layouts, AV requirements, and session readiness
  • Provide regular progress updates to the Programme Board
  • Deliver high-quality content, including speaker videos and infographics

About You

To be considered as a Conference Programme Producer, you will need:

  • Experience in content development and communications
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality events
  • Stakeholder management skills, engaging senior executives and technical experts
  • A collaborative approach and confidence in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of the energy industry would be advantageous, but is not essential.
