Working within a high-profile site, the conference & events department is busy and full-on.
As the Conference & Events Manager, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing all aspects of the conference & events operation including day-to-day hospitality and conference bookings, as well as high-profile fine dining dinners and events.
Leading and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional standards.
Optimising sales and controlling costs.
Planning and managing logistics, implementing processes and systems to help the department operate efficiently.
Ensuring event bookings are delivered on time consistently.
Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external bookers.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.
As the ideal candidate, you would:
Be a passionate Conference & Events Assistant Manager or Manager.
Have a successful work history in conference & events with the ability to deliver profit, control costs, build customer loyalty, and deliver exceptional standards.
Be a meticulous planner with the ability to plan for today as well as for the future.
Be hands-on when needed, particularly for high-profile dinners and events.
Be knowledgeable about the events, leisure, and services sector.
Exhibit exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Be enthusiastic, driven, with a positive, can-do attitude.
