More about the role:

As Conference & Events Manager you will be in a hands-on role. Your duties will include:

• Overall responsibility for delivering excellent service in a fast-paced quality C&E operation with key segments of weddings, client events, and small meetings, ensuring the highest standards and excellent customer service.
• Working closely with the General Manager and Sales Manager.
• Leading and managing a large variable team.
• Training, developing, and upskilling the team, focusing on personal development plans to promote growth.
• Compiling rotas in line with budget and business needs to ensure proper staffing levels.
• Managing customer feedback and creating action plans.
• Overseeing the delivery of all C&E bookings, ensuring upselling and understanding of C&E requirements.

Who you are:

Our Ideal Manager will:

• Have knowledge and experience of working within the events and hospitality department.
• Have previous experience of managing a team.
• Possess excellent people management and communication skills.
• Have excellent organisational skills.
• Be flexible regarding working hours.
• Have experience of leading and managing teams to deliver results.
• Able to work in a pressurised environment and multitask.
• Have an understanding of P&L accounts.
