Concrete Technician

RTL Group is seeking an experienced Concrete Technician to join their team on a heavy civil pipeline project in Ipswich. The standard working week is 40 hours.

The individual would need to be happy to work nights, weekends, and away from home. Uplifts to salary for these hours would be added to the basic salary. When working away, accommodation would be paid for, and a van would also be included along with pension benefits.

There are also temp to perm options available.

Key Requirements:

1. NVQ Level 2 in a concrete-related field
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in concrete finishing
3. Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and away from home when required
4. Competent in concrete setting, hand-finishing, and plant operation
5. Comfortable working at height, on water, and in confined spaces
6. Good communication skills with the ability to carry out site briefings
7. High attention to detail and commitment to recording site findings
8. Competent in concrete finishing
9. CSCS card required
10. Full UK driving license
11. Experience in structural inspections would be a significant benefit
