Exciting Opportunity for a Long-Term Supply Computing Teacher in Durham!

We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious secondary school in Durham as a Supply Computing Teacher. This position, starting in January 2025 and extending through summer 2025, offers the chance to inspire students and cultivate their understanding of computer science.

The Role:

As a Computing Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional computer science education to students in a supportive secondary school environment. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Planning and delivering engaging Computing lessons that align with the national curriculum
2. Instilling a love for business through innovative teaching methods and practical applications
3. Assessing students' progress and providing valuable feedback to support their growth
4. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
5. Collaborating with fellow Teachers and school staff to enhance teaching resources

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

1. Proven experience as a Computing Teacher, dedicated to fostering business understanding
2. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in business
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents
4. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
