Computer Science Teacher (KS3, KS4, KS5)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, equipping students with the essential skills for success in an increasingly digital world.

1. Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
2. Teach a range of topics, including programming, algorithms, cybersecurity, and data representation
3. Support and challenge students to reach their full potential, adapting teaching strategies as needed
4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and targeted support
5. Contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum and department initiatives
6. Participate in extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs or STEM projects

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience teaching Computer Science in a secondary school setting
2. Experience teaching across KS3, KS4, and KS5
3. Strong subject knowledge, including programming languages such as Python or Java
4. An up-to-date DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
5. Excellent communication and classroom management skills
6. A passion for computing and the ability to inspire students

1. Experience with A-Level Computer Science delivery
2. Knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in education
3. Familiarity with exam board specifications and assessment criteria
4. Ability to contribute to whole-school digital learning strategies
