Are you a Computer Science Teacher seeking a new, exciting opportunity? Empowering Learning is working with a 'good' rated Secondary School in Sutton Coldfield who are looking for a Computer Science Teacher to start in September on a full-time basis for the whole academic year.

This position is full-time and will be teaching Computer Science up to A Level. Knowledge of the Computer Science GCSE and A Level Curriculum is essential, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality Computer Science GCSE & A Level results.

Paying up to £230 per day with a £150 welcome bonus.

The successful candidate will hold QTS and must have UK Secondary school experience.

Duties of a Computer Science Teacher:

  • Teaching & delivering the Computer Science GCSE and A Level Curriculum.
  • Sole focus on delivering high-quality lessons each day.
  • Participating in SLT Team Meetings, contributing to key decisions within the school.
  • Managing behaviour and building relationships with staff, students & parents.
  • A person who is passionate, enthusiastic, and willing to go the extra mile to help and support children reach their maximum potential in every subject.
  • Ability to work well as part of a close-knit team as well as think on your feet.

  • QTS in Computer Science (ECTs please apply).
  • Strong Computer Science subject knowledge up to A Level.
  • Good behaviour management skills and confidence in following school behaviour policies.
  • A substantial school reference.
  • Previous experience working within a Computer Science Secondary School Department.
