Location:

Solihull, Birmingham

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. Holds a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  2. Has a degree in Computer Science or a related field
  3. Enthusiastic and dedicated professional with a love for teaching and learning
  4. Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and expertise
  5. Experienced in teaching Computer Science at the secondary level
  6. Having the ability to teach additional subjects is advantageous

The Role Outlined:

  1. Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to every year group within KS3 and KS4
  2. Assess pupils' progress and learning on a regular basis and provide informative feedback
  3. Track pupil progress through marking, written & verbal feedback, and assessments
  4. Work in collaboration with colleagues within the IT/Computing department to enhance the learning experience for pupils and improve pupil attainment
  5. Maintain safeguarding principles at the centre of everything you do
  6. Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities
