Career Teachers are working with an 'Outstanding' secondary school to recruit for a Computer Science Teacher for a long-term teaching role to start in April.

The School - Bexley

The school is a successful and oversubscribed school, located in Bexley. This role will be teaching in the Secondary phase, covering Computer Science at KS3, KS4, and KS5.

Person Specification

  • The ideal candidate would be a graduate in a relevant subject and possess Qualified Teacher Status. You should have successful teaching experience at the secondary level (can be teaching practice) and a good understanding of effective teaching and learning.
  • You should have knowledge of National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4, and understand the importance of having high expectations for all students regarding behaviour and academic achievement.
  • You should have knowledge of inclusive provision and practices that offer equality of access to the curriculum for all students, including those with special educational needs, English as an additional language, and high achievers.
  • You should have experience in writing lesson plans, developing resources, and assessing students' work.
  • You should possess the ability to work as part of a team and develop and maintain professional relationships with other teachers and education staff.
  • The successful candidate should be able to create a motivating and safe learning environment for all students while effectively managing your own work.
