Role: Computer Science Teacher

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of computer science. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of programming, algorithms, and digital systems. Your role will include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Computer Science lessons to students of various age groups (KS4, KS5).
• Encouraging students to apply computational thinking and programming skills in various projects.
• Supporting students in their digital development, providing guidance and encouragement when needed.
• Contributing to the development of the Computer Science curriculum.
• Participating in the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Computer Science.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Computer Science department.

Key Qualities We Are Looking For:

• A strong passion for Computer Science and a desire to support students' digital development.
• A recognized teaching qualification in Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching Computer Science to secondary-aged students is highly desirable.
• A passion for developing young people technologically and academically.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a cutting-edge and collaborative team.
