Who You Are:Placed under the supervision of the Group Chief Compliance Officer, who reports directly to the General Secretary, the compliance officer will assist in tasks, demonstrating autonomy, rigor, initiative, and responsiveness. You will work along with the Global Compliance Manager on a day-to-day basis.
In this role, you will be in direct contact with all high-level internal partners (notably the Procurement, Sales and Finance Departments, IT and IS), as well as with external contacts (notably auditors, external advisors), in an international environment.
What You'll Do: - Monitor the roll-out of the action plan of the Group following the update of the anti-corruption risk map;
- Contribute to the day-to-day treatment of requests made by operational departments, particularly in connection with the implementation of procedures followed with regard to third parties (customers and suppliers in particular);
- Be the UK point of reference for personal data protection matters (as the designated DPO) and, more specifically, be in charge of the implementation of the GDPR, Data Privacy Act and similar UK and US legislation;
- Work closely with HR to handle any data subject requests;
- Contribute proactively to incident management (reporting, remediation) in close collaboration with the Cyber Security department;
- Contribute to the design and deployment of the Group's data privacy compliance program with the assistance of the French DPO (based in ILM);
What We'd Love: - You are dynamic, and you know how to work in full confidentiality; you are good at interpersonal relationships.
- You are very familiar with IT and office automation tools.
What it Takes: - Degree in Ethics & Compliance Law, and/or Business Law
- Expertise in Legal Advice and Data Privacy
- 3-5 years of experience as a Compliance Officer
- High proficiency in English, both spoken and in writing
- Proficiency in French is a clear advantage.
