My client is a growing property services provider delivering essential maintenance and compliance services across the social housing sector. They are now seeking a dedicated Compliance Manager to take the lead on regulatory and safety standards - with a strong focus on fire safety.

This is a critical leadership role in the Compliance & Safety Team, ensuring they meet and exceed all relevant regulations, particularly around fire safety. You'll be working closely with operations, asset management, and external stakeholders to implement robust compliance processes that keep residents safe and informed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all fire safety and general compliance activities across our housing stock.
2. Develop, implement, and monitor compliance frameworks in line with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
3. Manage internal audits and ensure accurate records for inspections, certifications, and remedial works.
4. Collaborate with contract managers, engineers, and clients to ensure planned and responsive works align with compliance requirements.
5. Stay up to date with regulatory changes affecting social housing and fire safety (e.g., Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Order).

1. Proven experience in a compliance or safety management role, ideally within maintenance or social housing.
2. Strong working knowledge of fire safety regulations and procedures.
3. Familiarity with statutory compliance areas including gas, electrical, water hygiene, asbestos, and lift safety.
4. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
5. Relevant qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Fire, IOSH, Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment, or similar).
