Compliance Manager

Compliance Assurance Manager – Facilities Management – Reading (some travel in Berkshire/Oxfordshire/West London area) – £50,000 DOE plus excellent benefits – 6-month FTC

This company, a National player in the FM world, require a Compliance Assurance Manager to be based at their prestigious client site in Reading with some travel in Berkshire/Oxfordshire/West London area. Location: Reading (some travel in Berkshire/Oxfordshire/West London area)

Hours of Work: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support compliance activity to ensure it is completed and documented in accordance with contractual obligations.
• The primary activity will be an audit of all compliance records and activity for the account (self-delivered and outsourced activities) to establish compliance status for the duration of the contract.
• Once status is determined, a gap analysis and action plan is to be developed to address any gaps identified.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement and identify innovation where possible to streamline compliance activities.
• Promote and drive a strong safety culture across the account in accordance with values and Be There for Life framework.

The Successful Candidate:

• A strong technical background and demonstrable experience in compliance within the Facilities Management/Building Services Industry.
• Experience in compliance auditing, contract mobilisation and demobilisation advantageous.
• Knowledge and experience of compliance systems, auditing and statutory legislation required.
• Able to manage internal customer relationships with excellent negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to motivate, coach and develop others.
• Experience in delivering and developing sustainable compliance objectives.
• Commercial awareness with strong presentation, influencing and analytical skills.
