Position Summary
To manage key elements of Carlyle's London-based compliance program and support the compliance team's further development and implementation of the regulatory compliance platform. The Compliance Manager will undertake responsibility for management of ongoing monitoring, surveillance and reporting together with significant compliance projects from time to time. This individual will be responsible for components of reorganization or acquisition projects, creating new processes, implementing new compliance plans and researching new regulations potentially becoming the compliance team point person on specific regulatory areas. The Manager will be required to interact closely with investment professionals and investor relations professionals to support their activities. In particular, the Manager will work on preparing procedures and processes for new business areas undertaken by the firm.
The Manager needs to be highly motivated with excellent analytical and drafting skills with the ability to communicate clearly and use initiative.
