Reporting to a Senior Manager, the Compliance Manager will play a crucial role supporting the business in its key regulated jurisdiction, the UK and Ireland.
The main liaison for internal partners across the Customer Operations, Change Delivery, and Data, you will have tasks to ensure our customer operations and account management products are compliant.
What you'll do
Responsible for developing a team to ensure that regulatory requirements are well understood by key stakeholders and that processes or products are designed to mitigate regulatory risk and implemented efficiently. You are a manager who develops their team and supports their wellbeing.
Regulatory authority: Point of contact for any questions relating to operational compliance in the UK, providing support and mentorship to resolve this issue. Support operational change, automation, process, training, guidance and support pages.
Horizon Scanning: You will monitor the industry, regulator, and related research bodies for publications on standard process, upcoming regulatory change, and sanctions.
Risk Identification: Conduct thematic reviews to identify risk and ensure appropriate risk mitigation.
Incident Management: Where technical errors or incidents occur, you will work closely with business partners to close down the risk, implement a compliant fix, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent re-occurrence.
Quality: You will support the operation in improving quality where issues are identified and implement new/amend quality scorecards and training as required.
Compliance Framework: Developing and maintaining our Operational Compliance Control Framework. Ensuring all controls are detailed with clear owners.
How you'll do it
Previous line management experience, passion to develop and support a team.
Confirmed risk and regulatory experience.
Proven experience in handling training and competence frameworks.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, able to influence.
