Duties:

• Providing personal care, such as dressing, grooming, and bathing, while upholding each person’s dignity and respect.
• Helping with everyday duties like light housework, medication management, and meal preparation.
• Vital signs should be tracked and recorded, and any changes or issues should be reported to the relevant medical specialists.
• Fostering emotional well-being through companionship and meaningful talks.
• Making use of your car to accompany people to social events, appointments, and other activities.
• Following care plans and keeping thorough records of the services rendered.
• Developing close bonds with clients and their families by encouraging candour and trust.
• Working together with medical specialists and attending care team meetings when necessary.
• Encouraging a secure and encouraging atmosphere for people by recognising and resolving possible risks or hazards.
• In every interaction, exhibiting patience, understanding, and empathy.

Requirements:

• A minimum of six months’ experience working as a carer in the United Kingdom.
• A current and valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Possession of a vehicle and a spotless driving record.
• Proficient in both written and spoken communication.
• A sincere desire to improve people’s lives, coupled with a compassionate and empathetic disposition.
• The capacity to function both individually and together.
• A basic awareness of health and safety procedures and personal care techniques.
• The ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings. £13.60 per hour over the weekend.
• Dependable, trustworthy, and on time.
