Job description

We are recruiting for a Company Secretarial Assistant Manager to join a well-established and highly respected professional services firm. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented governance professional to work on a diverse range of company secretarial tasks, supporting both routine compliance and complex corporate transactions.

Key Duties:

  1. Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering annual compliance services and assisting with event-driven transactions, including share buybacks and capital reductions.
  2. Provide expert company law and secretarial advice to internal departments and clients.
  3. Support the development of team standards, policies and procedures.
  4. Assist with drafting legal documents, precedents and training materials for the department.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as tax, audit and corporate finance, on multidisciplinary projects.

Key Skills:

  1. Extensive experience in a company secretarial role within a professional services or legal environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of UK company law, including corporate transactions and statutory compliance.
  3. A proactive and flexible approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  4. CGI/ICSA qualification (or significant equivalent experience) is ideally preferred.
  5. Experience with Diligent Entities is a distinct advantage.
