Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people getting the support they need to live a life they value. We tackle poverty and disadvantage in communities, through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing and related support.
We have almost 200 services around England – and nearly 3,500 amazing staff and volunteers who run them. Every year our services support around 125,000 people.
Community Support Volunteer
Location: 7 North Park Road, Harrogate HG1 5PD
The Crossroads Diversion Scheme offers a trauma-informed scheme intended to address underlying causes of offending, by offering support to individuals that are at risk of entering the criminal justice system and first-time entrants. Engagement with the Crossroads Scheme is on a voluntary basis. Each individual receives a tailored support package, the intensiveness of which will be responsive to their needs. They are allocated a key worker who will provide direct interventions, advocate, and signpost into specialist agencies where necessary.
About the role...
This role is based in Harrogate and will involve travel to the Harrogate office and local organisations and user groups. Travel may also be required around York and Craven.
