We cover the London Borough of Barnet, and we are based at the Springwell Centre at Barnet General Hospital. The post is to cover Hendon and the surrounding area locality, with flexibility to support other areas of the East locality if needed.

As a team, we can offer multi-disciplinary support from Clinical Psychologists, Consultant Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, as well as Mental Health Nurses. We also provide regular CPD sessions, reflective practice, staff support sessions, individual and group supervisions, and academic training, as well as access to external training resources.

If you are interested in our service, please call Michael Benson on 0208 702 6194.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will demonstrate expert practice in the care of clients with mental health needs and maintain clinical expertise, taking responsibility for initiating risk assessment, mental capacity, best interest assessments, crisis planning, dialog plus and core assessment, ensuring the care and interventions provided within the older people service are evidence-based and in accordance with NICE guidance.
