Job Title: Community Psychiatric Nurse (Band 6)

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our Early Intervention Service as a Band 6 CPN, playing a key role in supporting individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing a caseload of service users with complex mental health needs.
  2. Conducting assessments, care planning, and delivering recovery-focused interventions.
  3. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and carers.
  4. Providing psychoeducation and relapse prevention strategies.
  5. Administering medication and monitoring mental health stability.
  6. Safeguarding and risk management to ensure patient safety.
  7. Supporting transitions between services and signposting to relevant support networks.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A current and valid NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
  2. Experience working within an Early Intervention in Psychosis or Community Mental Health setting.
  3. Strong risk assessment and crisis intervention skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  6. A valid full UK driver's license (preferred but not essential).
