Locum Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse - High Pay, Flexible Contract in Manchester!

Are you a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse looking for a rewarding locum role in Manchester? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

£25-26ph (Based on experience)

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care in a community mental health setting. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing a caseload
  2. Conducting assessments
  3. Developing and implementing personalised care plans
  4. Administering medications while monitoring treatment effectiveness
  5. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to provide crisis intervention, risk management, and safeguarding support
Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
  2. Community experience
  3. Strong clinical assessment, risk management, and crisis intervention skills
  4. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
  5. Sound knowledge of the Care Programme Approach (CPA), safeguarding policies, and mental health legislation
Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position, requiring full-time availability (37.5 hours per week). The contract is initially for 3-6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
