Job description

Community Nurse – Nottingham (NHS, Contract Role)

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Community Nurse to join an NHS service in Nottingham. This is a full-time contract role, working Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM, with a pay rate of £21.50 Ltd (umbrella) per hour.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in a community setting, supporting patients in their homes and local clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing wound management and medicines management in a community setting.
  2. Delivering catheter care and supporting patients with long-term conditions.
  3. Offering palliative care and end-of-life support.
  4. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centred care.
  5. Assessing, planning, and evaluating individual patient needs.

Requirements:

  1. Registered Nurse (RGN) qualification with a valid NMC pin.
  2. Previous community nursing experience is essential.
  3. Strong clinical skills, particularly in wound care, catheter care, and palliative care.
  4. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  5. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable).
