Main Duties of the Job
We are looking for a passionate, committed band 6 midwife to provide maternity care within our community midwifery team based at Ferryhill. CDDFT community midwives are passionate about facilitating antenatal and postnatal continuity of care, and you will be supported as an autonomous practitioner to plan your diary around your caseload, ensuring that women and families are at the centre of everything we do.
In return, we offer a personal induction programme where you will be supported by our practice development team to continue to develop your skills and thrive in your new role. We can also offer flexible work options including condensed hours.
Our team at Ferryhill provides care to women and families across a varied urban and rural setting. Our community hospital works closely with our maternity units at the University Hospital North Durham and at Darlington Memorial.
