Role
We are looking for volunteers to assist in our free community cafe at Cromer Methodist church in West Street.
The Café runs on Monday and Thursday. On Monday, it starts at 10:30 with refreshments and cake/scones; a meal is served at 12 noon, which includes a bowl of homemade soup and a roll.
On Thursday, it starts at 10:30 with refreshments and cake/scones, followed by bacon, egg, and mushroom on a roll.
Tasks include:
We seek volunteers with a love for people, a desire to welcome and treat our friends with love, dignity, and respect. We promote confidential conversations and endeavor always to respect and keep boundaries between service users and volunteers.
Time commitment
Looking for availability at the cafe opening times stated, plus a short time before and after for setting up and clearing away. You can volunteer on either one or both days, Monday or Thursday, depending on your availability.

Our work is based on our faith, and our Café seeks to bring together people from all walks of life for vibrant and exciting confidential conversations shared over homemade meals. Our meals are free of charge, and they are a gift from the Methodist Church to our communities.
