Community Fundraising Manager

Our client raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. They ensure their nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research to creating the very best patient environments, they will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Prospectus are delighted to be supporting with recruiting a Community Fundraising Manager to play an important part in the engagement of community supporters, identifying new prospects and effectively stewarding existing supporters. This role is responsible for overseeing a Community Fundraising team of 4 with a diverse portfolio, encompassing individuals, corporates, schools & groups, in-memory and celebration fundraising and DIY.

The successful candidate will have experience in proactively seeking new funding opportunities from community supporters, coupled with a passion for and proven success in building strong relationships with long-standing and high-value donors. Line management experience and/or mentorship is highly desirable.

This is a full-time, permanent role paying circa £40,000, requiring 2 days per week in their Sutton or Chelsea office.
