Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Engagement Coordinator to join our team, to develop and implement community and marketing initiatives to strengthen the brand, grow our market and support care pro recruitment.

Duties:

  • Develop and deliver community based events in line with the Home Instead brand to benefit local older people and support our local presence.
  • Develop effective relationships in the local community across health, social care and third sectors.
  • Ensure we maintain presence with promotional materials in local communities to raise our profile and awareness.
  • Attend third party organised community events including fairs, exhibitions, recruitment events and others that would promote our services to the public and assist with recruitment.
  • Work with Business Development and Key Players to support a joined up approach to local engagement.
  • Work with National Office marketing campaigns and Charities to support local engagement.
  • Utilise social media and online presence to promote and support local events.
  • Provide generalized support to team as necessary.

Essential Skills:

  • Understanding of the health and care sector.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations, talks or workshops to a broad-based audience.
  • Confident to network face to face, by phone, email, video call with community stakeholders.
  • Work off own initiative to identify and develop local programmes.
  • Confident to learn and deliver community talks and presentations on ageing related subjects.
  • Experience using a range of marketing and communication approaches including managing digital media platforms/campaigns.
  • Good PC skills and systems awareness.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business.
  • Competent in using a CRM database to manage touchpoints with RPNs.
  • Driver with access to own vehicle.

Job Spec & Company benefits:

  • 25 hours per week – work timetable to be confirmed with candidate.
  • £19,250pa.
  • 6 weeks paid holidays.
  • Contributory pension scheme.
  • Health Benefit Scheme.
  • Probationary period for 3 months.
