Do you have great communication skills and enjoy working out in the community?

Do you have experience of line management roles and responsibilities?

This service gives us a unique opportunity to support the setup of additional community led Early years settings alongside support existing groups in the community.

As part of this role you will be out and about daily within Sandwell supporting stay & play sessions run within the local community and the development of new sessions. This support has grown and developed over the last 12 months. As the senior within the team you will take a lead on supporting the newly recruited and established volunteers. Visiting community led sessions to identify needs and next steps for each group this could range from supporting with home learning ideas, developing their environments, identifying training etc. You will also share the work and support available to the group and families as part of the family hub network. As part of this role you will line manage the Early years worker and admin team members.

Although this contract has a permanent status, please be aware that this post is subject to funding currently until 31.03.26 and therefore should this funding not be extended further, you may be subject to a redundancy consultation or a TUPE arrangement. This contract is due to expire on 31.03.26.

The salary for this role is £27,573.00 (Full Time Equivalent) £24,577.00 (pro rata) other salaries are shown so that applicants are aware of the progression salaries and are non-negotiable.
