Job description

JustOT are recruiting for an HCPC registered experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist, to work with our well-respected client based in Southeast London.

We are looking for an Assistive Technology Occupational Therapist to work within our Service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Expert knowledge of Occupational Therapy practice and processes across Adult Social Care and Health settings, including knowledge and understanding of Occupational Therapy interventions (e.g. provision of equipment, adaptations and ATEC).
  2. Understanding of relevant health and social care legislation and its impact on practice (e.g. Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity 2005, NHS and Community Care Act), with ability to identify eligibility in line with current legislation and policy.
  3. Knowledge of the use of digital technology in health and care, with an understanding of the application of these technologies in social care to improve resident outcomes and independence.
  4. Proven experience and understanding of a person centred, enabling approach to working with people to maximise their independence and wellbeing.
  5. Experience of considering and referring for ATEC as part of packages of care and support.

Hourly rate: £35.00
Location: Southeast London
Hours & Days to be Worked: full time, Mon to Friday
Working arrangements: Mix of home working and office.

Essential Requirements:
  1. HCPC registered
  2. 3 years Social Services Experience
  3. Car driver
