Job description

The Oxford Martin School, located at 34 Broad Street, Oxford, OX1 3BD, is seeking a proven and creative communications professional to deliver wide-ranging and impactful communications across both the School’s owned channels and in the media.

The Oxford Martin School brings together researchers from different fields across the University of Oxford to respond to the most urgent challenges of our time. The post holder will work on topics as diverse as tackling antibiotic resistance, the renewable energy transition, the global trade in wildlife, and issues around AI.

Reporting to the Head of Development and External Relations and line managing the Communications and Media Assistant, you will:

  1. Work closely with the School’s events team to promote their vibrant calendar of lectures.
  2. Collaborate with the Head of Finance and Administration to deliver internal communications for the School.
  3. Engage with high-profile researchers from across the School’s research programmes to deliver press releases, long reads, videos, blogs, social media, and other content that raises awareness of the School’s research and programmes globally.
