The Communications Infrastructure Manager I will lead the day to day activities of technician staff and will facilitate the timely resolution of all computer related questions, problems, and requests from end-users.
The Communications Infrastructure Manager I will be responsible for:
Supervising the daily activities of the Communications Infrastructure team, including staff evaluation, hiring, performance management, and staff development.
Providing strategic direction and technical expertise in communications infrastructure, structured cabling systems, cellular networks, and audiovisual systems.
Overseeing structured cabling installation projects, ensuring project management resources track tasks, resource requirements, schedules, and budgets while maintaining compliance with hospital construction safety requirements.
Leading the development and continuous updating of communications infrastructure standards, ensuring understanding among Facilities project managers, architects, engineers, and designers.
Ensuring compliance with design documents, internal policies, and industry standards while effectively resolving conflicts through collaboration.
Collaborating with IT technical teams to understand infrastructure needs and designing solutions and standards that align with those needs.
Producing and maintaining documentation, drawings, and specifications using tools like Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for technical and operational purposes.
